Job Description
The East Africa Sales Area Manager will play a pivotal role in driving MEAF Consultants’ growth in the Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors across East Africa. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of these industries' unique challenges and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market analyses to identify sales opportunities and tailor strategies to the Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors.
- Lead and innovate in product development initiatives, ensuring our offerings meet the specific needs of these industries in East Africa.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, understanding sector-specific requirements and delivering solutions that meet these needs.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for the region through strategic planning and execution, with a focus on these key sectors.
- Provide expert insights on market trends, sector-specific challenges, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing sales team capable of meeting the demands of these industries.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: Demonstrated success in sales management within the Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy sectors. Familiarity with the East African market dynamics in these industries is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a field related to the key sectors served by MEAF Consultants.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Spanish. Knowledge of German and any other additional languages used in East Africa is a plus.
- Skills: Strong sector-specific knowledge, excellent negotiation and communication skills, strategic planning, and the ability to lead a team in a multicultural setting.
- Personal Attributes: A driven, results-oriented individual with a passion for the Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors. Must be adaptable, with a keen interest in technological innovations and sustainability in industrial processes.

In the 90s the growth of the market for fresh milk and cold and hot fill juices into PET and HDPE containers have encouraged AVE Technologies to develop some new EFS filling systems suitable to increase the shelf life of these products. The new generation of the EFS ELITE system can assure a compact dimension to facilitate the insertion of the filling block in the existing lines thanks to:
- one turret for the decontamination of the container through the atomization with peroxide and steam or with peracetic solution, that are integrated with the the filling group.
- setting of a cap decontamination system with high intensity UV lamps and pulsed light.
The new Elite system is the result of the experience of our Research Department to guarantee the quality of the products.
